The video below shows how to manipulate the quick handle on a DAESSY Articulating Quick Release Base.
The handle itself is typical of these types of lever handles and has the ability to be repositioned simply by pulling the handle outwards away from it’s stem. It comes away from the gearing that tightens or loosens it’s screw and allows the handle to freely turn.
In that way, you can make small moves to tighten or loosen the joints instead of large turns that might be impeded in their arc.
